“Venus of The Present” is affirming the sensual aspect of being a woman. Symbolically, the female form is the essence of beauty and love. It is the focus of desire and a superpower. Yet nothing in our world is without a shadow: Beauty and love co-exist with dark, dangerous, and wild forces, guided by nature and its tyranical demands for survival and procreation.
