Colors of Juneteenth

June 3 - 30, 2021

Curated by Orlonda Uffre

Participating Artists:

Hilda Robinson | Renata Gray | Orin Carpenter | Vaughn Filmore | Orlonda Uffre

The artworks in the show will represent the Black Gaze of the African Diaspora artist, through visual interpretations of history, culture, and experience, as with Freedom’s Eve, January 1, 1863, which spread as “Watch Night” services throughout the land.

We honor and celebrate the commitment to preserving and celebrating this art, while exploring the content and context of visual protest, freedom and cultural exchange.

This page is under construction, all the artworks will be available to view and purchase soon!
