The photo is part of a series in which I explored and expressed the process of healing chronic pain in my body, while being supported and in relationship to the Earth. The energy of different places around the bay area, offered many insights and inspiration that I felt guided by when I made these photos.  This process felt like a collaboration with the land and the harmony that nature so beautifully embodies and shares.  It was a practice of heightened attention and presence, of surrender and of empowerment.
