64x12", Eco printed silk and wool blend scarf
The process for these scarves are often referred to as eco printing. Leaves are used to make the prints on the fabric through a steaming process which extracts color from the leaves. Commonly used leaves, all collected locally, are eucalyptus, ginkgo, smoke bush, walnut, grevillea, maple, mulberry. Fabrics: silk, silk/wool blend, wool gauze, wool jersey.
