Artist Statement

I am an artist and musician born, raised, and residing in Oakland, CA.
I use high contrast black and white photography to invite viewers to quiet their minds
and connect with the humanity of each subject.
In portraiture, I aim for intimacy by prioritizing the subject’s comfort and confidence. The
high contrast black and white format lets the viewer focus and feel connected as well.
