Artist Statement

V uses self-portraiture as a way to explore their inner thoughts and battles to create a bridge between past and present selves. They choose to document nature to remind themselves that life does not exist without death. Additionally, V documents people in order to better understand and explore the various facets of human emotion. 

Rebirth

A photo from a series of work I created for my first ever group show. I look back at this piece and realise that playing around with concepts like higher self and thinking of the different facades of ones self has always been something I was interested in but, at the stage of which this photo was created, wasn't something I could quite articulate yet.
