Call For Artists

Call for Artists: Re-Imagining our Footprint, January 20, 2021

As we move forward into 2021, the climate crisis becomes ever more urgent.

Artists are by nature consumers of raw materials, and makers of objects. There is a certain irony in a painting about climate change made with paint made of plastic.

How can we deliver a message about climate change and be more thoughtful about the materials we use?

How can we be more responsible as individuals and as a society?

This call for art is looking for your answers.

How can we as a society, and as artists, improve our environmental impact?

What will our future footprint be?

What materials can we use to make environmentally safe and sound art? And use in our daily lives?

This call for art is looking for your answers.

We invite you to address what is being done and what can be done. Please be forward thinking and optimistic.
