Acrylic, alcohol Ink, graphite and resin on wood panels
I made these two pieces while living in the Redwoods with the threat of fire upon us during the drought. They were inspired when it finally started to rain and everything became shiny and new again. It’s amazing how rain can do that to your environment when you live so close to nature. Of course, it didn’t last long enough nor was it enough rain, but it felt glorious and hopeful at the time.
