“Reflections in Transit” 

I commuted to work for most of my life, and those moments became my quiet time—time to reflect, plan, and make lists. In this painting, I wanted to capture one of those in-between moments, where the world moves outside while thoughts unfold within.

I am an Oakland, California based artist whose work explores the quiet, often-overlooked humanity of daily life. Focusing on scenes from streets, markets, and restaurants. My art captures the essence of people going about their routines, reminding viewers that each face in a crowd carries a unique story. Working primarily in oil or charcoal, my pieces aim to reveal the individuality within the collective, inviting contemplation of the shared human experience.
