In this class we'll learn the delicate dance between control and letting go. Abstract art is largely regarded in the art world as purposely confusing or enigmatic. In this course we will explore how it can be spontaneous, freeing, and visually stunning. We'll be playing jazz, laughing, and creating colorful pieces together on wood board. Painters are encouraged to bring their own canvas or wood board. Suki will teach you how to seal wood for painting, listening to the wood grain on your individual piece, and using it as a springboard for fabulous visual expression.
