Beginning Colored Pencil Drawing with Moonji L. Pickering

This class is for those who want to use colored pencils as their vessel to express their artistic talent but don’t know where and how to start. It is a beginner’s class so it does not require any background knowledge or previous experience, only passion and a readiness to have fun. The class consists of three parts, each with its own theme - Flowers, Landscapes, and Minhwa (Korean Folk Art). Each class is a stand-alone class so no need to feel pressure to take all three. However, each class will dive deep into different aspects of colored pencil art so that students learn something new if they decide to take all three classes. At the end of each class, students will take home a piece of art showcasing what they learned.
MoonJi is a colored pencil artist who walks between the Korean and American worlds and draws artistic inspiration from the dynamic landscape of California and the vibrant history of Korea.
Workshops are fully refundable up to two weeks prior to workshop date. No Refunds within 14 days of the workshop date. Force Majeure: No refunds due to cancellation of a workshop or event due conditions beyond our control, ie. weather, earthquake, or other natural disasters.
