Relief Printing Workshops with Jade Vega

January 15- February 26

We are happy to present a series of print making classes. Each class is open to all levels of experience.  Students will learn the foundations of relief printing as well as carving techniques. Each class you will leave with an edition of prints which will progress in skill level each time. We will learn fundamental printing techniques as well as experimental printing. We encourage you to take all of the classes, but it is not required.

Artist Bio:

Jade Vega (b. 1996) is a Berkeley-based visual artist whose work explores introspection and memory, delving into the dynamic relationship between personhood, space, and environment. A graduate of the University of California, Davis, with a BA in Studio Arts and Museum Studies, Jade's primary focus is printmaking, though her multidisciplinary practice incorporates painting, video, and photography, often blending these mediums to create compelling, layered works.

Workshops are fully refundable up to two weeks prior to workshop date. No Refunds within 14 days of the workshop date. Force Majeure: No refunds due to cancellation of a workshop or event due conditions beyond our control, ie. weather, earthquake, or other natural disasters. Refunds are given at the discretion of Abrams Claghorn.
