To (Two) Communicate mixed media on recycled phones Installation 4.5 x 5.5"
The message of climate change is not only about weather, but can also be about what is versed in the state of affairs in the world. As a multi-media artist who uses recycled materials, I have to ask myself how do items of waste become not just an object to discard, but reinvented as a product of purpose? It’s answered by an idea that history is important for me to show in a current time. It is the use of an artistic process that may connect and convey a conversation beyond art. Creativity in this reused way, is now visibly seen as an alternative of what is just left behind unvalued. The use of recycled cell phones for me as art, is to remind us to change the message everyday in crisis to what contributes affirmations for sustainability during these ever changing times.
