My grandma used to have this jar of fruit-flavored candies saved just for us (grandchildren). I don't know how pricey the particular brand of candy was back in the '90s, but it surely was a precious thing between me and my grandma. She never ate any herself. She would just have a big smile on her face watching me rolling the candy in my mouth.
