Description: My work is inspired from Islamic architecture and following verse from Quran- It is Allah Who sustains the heavens and the earth, lest they cease (to function): and if they should fail, there is none - not one - can sustain them thereafter: Verily He is Most Forbearing, Oft-Forgiving.

Artist Statement: I come from Eygpt and my first language is Arabic. The oriental style and rich culture from my country has shaped my personality as an artist. Though trained as Interior designer, I started painting after arriving in United States. Initially I started abstract works but soon I turned towards my rich heritage of Arabic Calligraphy and created abstract paintings informed by Calligraphy. Gradually I studied Classical Arabic Calligraphy and achieved my own contemporary calligraphy style.
