Sculpey Figurine/Ornament/Charm/Keychain (all skill levels) [Oven Bake Clay]
In this workshop students will learn how to create small themed clay figurines, ornaments, or keychains. Example themes are: Food, Animals, Seasonal, etc. They will learn how to form basic shapes and work with oven baked clay, freehand sculpting techniques, .
At the end of the class, students will have at least one completed figurine or keychain and more knowledge of working freehand with clay.
Maya Terrell is a lifelong artist living, working, and finding inspiration in her Oakland hometown. While apprenticing under lauded Chicago native Fan Lee Warren, she developed a strong appreciation for translating life to paper whilst maintaining its core meaning and identity. Throughout her artistic journey she’s found a love for clay, crochet, quilting, and helping people along on their creative path.
